Potato Town is the work place of
artist Pam Franklin and furniture makers John Callen and Keith Lobban. Situated
on the Great Tew Estate in north Oxfordshire the converted farm buildings
provide an inspiring setting to work in.

developement by Great Tew Estate in 1997
Why
is it called Potato Town? The best explanation for this is that potatoes for
the estate were stored here when the site consisted of four or five cottages
and barns. The buildings were restored in 1997 and since then have become the
family home for John and Pam as well as Studios and Workshops. Each summer when
the garden is at its best we hold exhibtions of our own work and invite selected
guest to show with us utilising both indoor and outdoor areas.
